I have used your product for about two years now and I would rate it as excellent
(5 stars).
A few comments:
The rings work really well in heating the water and on cutting down on evaporation.
They are also much easier to take off the pool and to stack than the standard
pool covers. I have a large pool and one person can take 20 rings off in about
10 minutes. I lay down a tarp on the deck and then fold the tarp over the rings
when they are all stacked.
I live in Santa Rosa CA, and I needed about 20 rings to get good coverage
and heating for the 600 square-foot surface area pool. Santa Rosa is one hour
north of San Francisco and the weather is a little cooler than in So Cal.
Last winter I put two hooks on the ceiling of my garage and put an 8 foot
length of closet dowel between the hooks. I then threaded the solar rings by
the big loop on the edge of the ring and let them hang there for the winter.
It was no problem to take them down and re-inflate them for the coming season.
Finally, inflating the rings can be a little tricky. My system is to inflate
the center of the ring a little more than what was needed and then I would
put the little tube that allows the air to escape in the air inlet valve and
then I would bunch up the ring to about the size of a soccer ball and then
pull out the little tube and close the valve. I end up with just the right
amount of air.
This is an excellent product that is very well designed. Great job!

Please accept some positive feedback on your Solar Sun Ring pool product. We
live in the central part of Virginia where most pools open around Memorial
Day. We have a 20,000 gallon above ground pool. During the first
year, we thought the water temperature would never reach a comfortable level.
While researching expensive and complicated pool heaters, I saw your Solar
Sun Ring. I decided to try them because they were economical, uncomplicated
and did not take additional electrical power or extra room in my yard.
What a difference! My family and I were delighted to see the water temperature
rise noticeably within a day. In just a day or two the water temperature
was a comfortable 85 degrees and we were enjoying the pool long before anyone
else in the neighborhood. We use the rings all summer to keep the temperature
where we like it and were able to extend last year’s swimming season
by several weeks.
I wanted to thank you for selling a great product at a reasonable price and
actually does what it is advertised to do. As long as I have a pool, I’ll
use the solar rings.

When we were in the market for a solar cover for our pool we went to a local
pool supply store with full intentions of buying a traditional "bubble
wrap" blue solar cover. The salesperson told us about this new product
that they couldn't keep on the shelf called "Solar Sun Rings." We
decided to give them a try... with, admittedly, a little skepticism.
We've been using them for a couple of months now and I cannot believe how well
they work. You'd think living in sunny warm Arizona people wouldn't need a product
like this but the problem is that at the beginning and end of the pool season
here the days are warm and sunny, but the nights are still very cool and dry. Any
warming of the pool during the day is more than lost at night with the cooler
temps and extremely dry air. The Solar Sun Rings help warm the pool much
quicker during the day and then at night they help keep that warmth in and fight
evaporation. The fact that the entire pool surface is not covered is a
tremendous advantage because it allows me to add chemicals if needed and also
monitor my pool vacuum.
I was also a little concerned that they may affect the operation of my Hayward
Pool Vacuum because the vacuum hose floats on the surface. I am pleased
to say that the rings do not affect the operation at all.
Since our purchase, we have told friends and some of them have also purchased
them for their pools.

I purchased 12 Solar Rings for my pool in May, 2009. After six weeks, I am totally satisfied with their performance. They heat the pool just like the literature stated and most of all, they dramatically slowed down my pool water evaporation at a time when water conservation is a very high priority in California. They are extremely easy to remove and replace in the pool (takes me less that 5 minutes) and have helped to keep my pool clean. Additionally, I believe my chemical additions to the pool have slowed down some over the past month. All-in-all, I consider the advertising for Solar Rings to be quite accurate.
I am 71 years old and the reduction in physical effort handling the Solar Rings compared to manipulating a large and cumbersome pool blanket can't be understated. My back thanks Solar Sun Rings.

My husband and I purchased the Solar Sun Rings last season and were amazed at how easy they are to use. It's so much easier to remove them and place them on the water than large pool covers. They do an amazing job of retaining and increasing heat when turned upright in our pool in the mountains of Arizona. The rings save gas bills and help the pool stay much cleaner. They are a great invention (only wish we had the patent on them!) and your customer service department is awesome as well. Thanks for the great pool accessories.
